What is Media Max?
Media Max is a PC remote control. You'll be able to run different programmes; to execute commands like PLAY, STOP, PAUSE; to control the sound volume; to stop or start programs; to switch off your computer immediately or after a fixed period (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 minutes); to simulate the computer mouse, etc.
- What do you need to operate Media Max?

Your computer should have a spare COM (serial) port. The Media Max infrared receiver is switched on to that port
- Your computer should have one of the following operation systems installed: Win9x/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP
- How does Media Max operate?
Media Max supervises constantly which programs are being started in your computer. If it finds a program with an installed module for its operation, it automatically changes its settings to enable the running of that program.

What do modules serve for?
Each program, which can be run with Media Max, should have an installed module. Media Max can have up to 255 modules installed. Media Max operates only one module at a time. At any time after the installation of Media Max a new control module can be added for running a new program.
- How many module types are there?
There are two module types:
- for running programmes (all modules, which are used for running programmes);
- for system control (the mouse simulation module).
